Intro to WA Water Alliance for Water and Regenerative Practitioners
12pm Wednesday May 28, online
The WA Water Alliance aims to bring together diverse actors across different sectors to share stories and resources related to water issues, opportunities and inspiration across WA, as well as to form a united voice for water advocacy.
I started the Water AllianceĀ informed by a long-held belief in the need for active citizenship to create meaningful positive change, including a healthy civic-society sector. It is my hope that the Water Alliance complements and amplifies the existing 'good stuff' happening in the space.Ā
I know there are SO MANY good humans doing great work that it would be impractical to attempt to have 1:1s with everyone, so I thought a webinar would be the most appropriate way to introduce the WA Water Alliance concept and open up some discussion.
Rough agenda for the hour:
- Introduction to WAWA and intended first set of actions, including how the Water Alliance could support the work of others
- Feedback from attendees in response to a handful of targeted questions
- Ways it is envisaged practitioners could get involved
